A Story of Light, Love, and Legacy
This is more than lighting. It’s a story of love that never fades.
Clapppp Design began as more than just a project—it was a shared dream between a father and his daughter. A way to connect, to create, to find common ground in the simple joy of working with their hands. Together, they transformed fallen palm leaves into luminous works of art, blending nature, craftsmanship, and the warmth of their bond.
It started as a quiet collaboration—sanding, shaping, and polishing each piece, side by side. The hum of their tools, the laughter over imperfect cuts, the pride in every finished lamp—it became their language, their way of being together.
Now, though he is no longer here, his presence is in every curve of wood, every soft glow that fills a room. With every lamp she creates, she feels him beside her—guiding her hands, sharing the moment. And as she polishes each piece, she can almost see him smile.
From Fallen to Fabulous
Every year, palm trees, shed their leaves.
Most see waste.
We see potential.
The seed came first.
Before the lamp, before the leaf — there was a seed. Palm bracts exist for one purpose: to shelter and protect the fruit as it grows. They cradle the seeds through sun, wind and rain, holding everything together until the moment is right.
When the fruit ripens and the seeds are ready, the bract opens. Its work is done. Birds feed. Insects feast. The cycle completes itself, exactly as nature intended.
Only then do we collect it. Never cut, never forced — always after the bract has fulfilled its purpose.
What protected life in a palm grove now illuminates a room in your home. The same material. A new purpose. A story that continues.
No two palms are alike,
And neither are our lamps.
Each one tells its own story, with grooves, curves, and textures that only nature can design.
The final piece is ready to bring warmth, nature, and artistry into your space.
Each leaf is cleaned, dried, shaped, and treated by hand.
We apply our secret formula to protect the leaves from aging
Fallen once.
Hanging again.
Glowing.
